A place to experience and enjoy art

The International Obernkirchen Sculptor Symposium also offers a sculpture project for young artists in the age of 7-17 years.

Close to and within shouting distance of the church square, we will install a working area and like the grown up sculptors next door we will turn vile stones into beauties.

Here you can get to know the world of stonemasonry and learn how to carve like a stone mason.

You can make your own ideas immortal by carving your own stone and / or be part of an ambitious joint project.

We want to make relief copies of all artworks created during the past symposia using large sandstone slabs, setting up an archive wall gallery.

Thus presenting all exhibits to the Obernkirchen visitors in a clear and "intelligible" way.
